We are looking for a commercial construction project manager. The ideal candidate will have experience managing all aspects of a commercial construction project from bidding/estimating to project completion.

Responsibilities:

  • Bidding/budgeting potential new projects.

  • Contract negotiation with both clients and subcontractors/suppliers.

  • Manage compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and construction codes.

  • Develop and maintain up to date construction schedules.

  • Lead project team, including project assistants, superintendents, field staff, and subcontractors.

  • Meet or exceed all client expectations.

  • Maintain effective communication with all stakeholders.

  • Manage compliance with all internal standard operating procedures.

  • Manage compliance with customer requirements.

  • Manage project financials, including contracts, billings, and expenses.

  • Other requirements as directed/needed.

Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated leadership ability.

  • Working knowledge of computer systems, including ability to work with MS Office products, accounting software, estimating software, scheduling software, and other web based tools.

  • Strong communication skills.

  • Ability to negotiate contracts.

  • Ability to effectively manage delegated tasks.

  • Schedule development and management.

  • Ability to read plans and specs.

  • Budget management and expense control.

  • Working knowledge of building codes and best practices.

  • Working knowledge of OSHA standards.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with sales and estimating.

  • Working knowledge of MS Project.

  • Working knowledge of Sage 100.

  • Familiarity with web based project management software.

  • Experience with procurement.
